We see children as capable builders of their own understanding, not empty vessels to fill. In our rooms, they choose work that holds their attention, repeat it as long as they need, and build focus through their own hands. Teachers observe and guide rather than direct, trusting the child's pace and interest.
The rooms are calm and uncluttered. Low shelves hold practical life trays, sensorial materials, language cards, and math beads. One child sorts buttons, another builds a tower. A teacher kneels beside a child who is figuring something out. This is guided independence, and it starts early.
During a visit, you might see a child wash a table, another trace sandpaper letters, another count beads. A teacher may sit with one child rather than address the group. The room sounds busy, not loud. Work is chosen, finished, and put back.
What a day looks like
A child walks in, hangs up a coat, and looks around. A teacher says good morning and kneels to eye level. The child chooses a first work from the shelf. That choice starts the day.
Children work alone or in small groups, moving through practical life, sensorial, language, math, and cultural materials. There is time for art, music, and movement. They eat together and rest when they need to. Outdoor time breaks up the morning.
The afternoon slows down. Children finish work, help tidy the room, and gather their things. At pickup, a teacher may mention what a child worked on. Your child might show you something they made.
How we work with families
At pickup, a teacher might tell you your child poured water without spilling. Ask anything—about naps, snacks, or how the morning went. We value open communication and shared purpose. Questions are always welcome.
For the first weeks, we keep the routine steady and check in with you often. A comfort item from home can stay in your child's cubby. We plan the first days around what suits your child.

What ages do you take?

Can we visit before deciding?
Yes, a tour is the best way to decide. Your child can walk through the room, touch the materials on the open shelves, and see where children work and eat.
What should my child bring on the first day?
Most families pack a spare set of clothes, a water bottle, and indoor shoes. A comfort item from home can stay in the cubby. Label everything with your child's name.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we currently have, so the exact hours and days vary. Please ask us what is available for your child, and we will tell you plainly what we can offer.
What if there is no place right now?
You can ask to be told when a place opens for your child's age. We will let you know as soon as one does.
