What a tour looks like
The room your child would join
You walk into the room your child would join and see it as it is on a normal day. Materials sit on low shelves, ready for small hands. Outside, the outdoor space is part of the same rhythm.
The teachers
You meet the teacher who runs the room. Ask how the day unfolds, from the first arrival to the last goodbye. Ask, too, how the first weeks are handled, because that is where trust begins.
Your questions
Ask everything on your list: hours, meals, pickups, tuition. A good question deserves a straight answer. If we do not know something on the spot, we follow up.
Before you come
Bring your child. A tour works best when they can see the room, touch the materials and meet the teacher who would care for them, and you can watch how the adults respond to them. Plan on enough time to see the room during an ordinary part of the day rather than a quiet one.
Bring the questions you actually have. Ask about hours and pickup, meals and rest, and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how parents hear about the day, and what happens when a child is unwell.
